The Inresponse Web Service Host is a component for hosting Microsoft Windows service processes (hosting services). The following web service technologies are supported:
- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- ASP.NET Web API 2 (Web API)
NOTE: To run the Inresponse Web Service Host, you must install the Inresponse Service Manager. See Using Inresponse Service Manager for instructions on installing and using the Inresponse Service.
The Inresponse Service Manager creates a service-specific folder, generates a default deployment configuration file named DeploymentConfig.xml into that folder, and installs a Windows service. The path of the created directory is:
%ProgramData%\2020 Insight\<version>\IR.WSH\<service name>
