Defining Professionals skills ensures that the right expertise is matched to the right work. In maintenance environments where tasks often require specialized knowledge, identifying and cataloging skills allows you to align your workforce more effectively when assigning and responding to service orders.
Once created, they can be chosen from a field within the Service Order Scheduling module, when scheduling a Service Order.
To define a skill:
- Navigate to the Professional Skills form.
- Select the Add button from the form header.
- Fill in the fields by giving the skill a Name and Description.
- Select Save.
