Within Insight, every professional can have an employment status defined, which determines how they are classified within the system. There are two out-of-the-box employment statuses available: Contracted and Employed.
Properly defining a professional's employment status helps organizations distinguish between their internal workforce and outside vendors or contractors — ensuring accurate resource tracking, scheduling, and reporting across service operations.
