Inventory Work Order Issue let you add inventory items directly to a work order. This simplifies the process of issuing inventory, streamlining your ability to assign inventory through a single transaction.
Inventory Work Order issues fields:
| Field | Description |
| Work Order | Container or work order number. The scan prefix is CON or ICN. |
| Issue Item | List of inventory items that are eligible for issue to this work order. Select the item being issued in this scan. |
| Parent Item Number | Item number, if attached to a parent item. |
| Lot Number | Lot number, if the issue item is lot controlled. |
| From | List of stock locations that contain the issue item. You can override the default if more than one location exists. |
| Required | Read-only sum of all required quantities that match the Issue Item and MFG Item. |
| Prior | Read-only sum of all prior allocation quantities that match the Issue Item and MFG Item. |
| Issue Qty | User-entered quantity being issued in this scan. |
| UOM | Read-only unit of measure, determined by the stocking location UOM. |
To issue inventory to a work order:
Scan or manually enter the work order number.
Select the item.
Note: The Parent Item and Lot Number will auto populate if included.Enter its location.
Enter issue quantity.
Once the quantity is entered and you tab off of the last field, it will process the issue. If successful, a green toast will appear at the bottom of the screen.
