Inventory counts

The Inventory Counts frame allows you to scan items and record on-hand quantities. In doing so, you confirm that the quantities of items match what is physically on hand. Mobile inventory counts are limited to counts with the milestone Frozen.

Inventory count fields

FieldDescription
Inventory CountScanned barcode or manually entered name of an inventory count. The scan prefix for inventory counts is ICT.
LocationScanned barcode or manually entered ID of a valid stocking location.
Note: Use the lot number if the item is lot controlled. 
ItemScanned barcode or manually entered name of an item.
LotLocation of the item. 


To perform an inventory count:

  1. Scan or manually enter the inventory count. 
    Note: You can also use the icon to select one.
  2. Scan or the select the location of the item.
  3. Scan the item that you wish to perform the count against. This will display a dialogue to enter the quantity.
    Note: Alternatively, you can select the icon to choose an item and location from the list. Double-click on the item or select the icon
  4. Add the Quantity.
  5. Select or accept the Unit of Measure.
  6. Press OK. 

Once an item is completed, it removes it from the remaining list of items needed to be counted. If successful, a green toast will appear at the bottom of the screen.
