This section identifies the system requirements and prerequisites for running the web server to support Insight Web browser clients.

The following figure illustrates the applications installed on each hardware device. This diagram represents a typical production environment.
Prerequisites
The following Insight license features are required:
- IS.CAL.BWS (“Backend Web Service”)
- IS.CAL.NFL ("Named Full User") - one license per user of the full Insight Web client
- IB.CAL.NSF (“Named Shop Floor User”) – one license per Shop Floor user
An account with database access is required to run the Insight Backend. Typically, this would be a domain account with a non-expiring password that is added to the same Insight Users domain user group that is used by the standard clients.
Application Requirements
The InsightWeb.zip package for the appropriate Insight version contains the Insight Web browser client application and the backend.
NOTE: The InsightWeb.zip file must be unzipped to a local folder before starting the installation script.
