Uninstalling Inresponse Services

WARNINGS: Before uninstalling, stop the Inresponse service.
If you do not stop the service, it will continue to run until it is manually stopped or Microsoft Windows is shut down.

To stop the service

In the command shell window, press Ctrl+C to interrupt the service.

When prompted, press Enter.

The Inresponse Service Manager appears.

To uninstall a service

  • Open the Inresponse Service Manager.
  • If the service is running, stop it.
  • Select the service.
  • Click the Delete button.
  • Click OK to confirm. 
  • The system displays a command shell window as it uninstalls the service.
  • When prompted, press Enter.
  • The Inresponse Service Manager appears.

NOTE: The system removes the registration of the service in the Insight database and deletes the Windows service.
