Configure Network File Server for 2020 Construct

To add 2020 Construct to an existing Insight installation, you first make changes to the Network File Server.

The following figure illustrates the recommended directory structure for an Insight system with 2020 Construct. We strongly recommend that you restructure the existing layout of your directories to match what is shown in this figure. You need to create directories that do not currently exist.

The 2020 ConstructData directory should be on the root of a shared and mapped network drive. Ensure that the mapped network drive is available to all 2020 Construct users so that paths at each client are [Network Drive]:\ConstructData.

If you do not follow the recommended structure, you need to note and/or diagram the existing locations of these support directories and insert the correct paths to these locations, where appropriate, while following the remaining instructions for the upgrade process. You might still need to create directories listed in the figure that do not currently exist on your system.

Create 2020 ConstructData directory

Create the 2020 ConstructData directory and the IMORDER and VRMLCFG subdirectories on the Network File Server.
