NOTE: This topic provides instructions for installing an Inresponse instance on a local machine. For instructions on installing the Inresponse Service Manager, see Using Inresponse Service Manager
- In the Client Applications folder of the Insight installation files, double click setup.exe.
- In the Insight InstallShield Wizard, click Next.
- Accept the terms of the license agreement and then click Next.
- Select the user option and then click Next.
- Complete the license server information and then click Next.
- Complete the database information and then click Next.
- In the Setup Type window, select Custom and then click Next.
- In the Custom Setup window, expand the Inresponse list and select This feature will be installed on local hard drive.
NOTE: Note the red X to the left of the Inresponse Service option. See for instructions on installing and using an Inresponse Service Manager, see Using Inresponse Service Manager.
- Click Next and Finish to complete the installation of the Inresponse instance and add the Inresponse icon to your desktop.
