- Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio on the SQL Server where the Insight databases reside.
- Expand Security.
- Point to Logins, right-click, and select New Login. The Login - New dialog box appears.
- Perform the following steps on the General page:
- In the Login name field, enter your domain name and the InresponseUsers group.
TIP: Alternatively, search and select the group by clicking Search. Then, click Object Types and select Groups so that you can search by groups. - Select Windows authentication.
- In the Login name field, enter your domain name and the InresponseUsers group.

- On the User Mapping page, permit rights to the Insight database and the db_owner role, as shown in the following figure. If you are using optional databases, also permit user rights and db_owner to them.
- On the User Mapping page, permit rights to the msdb database and the SQLAgentUserRole, as shown in the following figure. When complete, click OK.
