- Copy the Insight database to the SQLBackups folder on the SQL Server.
- Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Point to Databases, right-click, and select Restore Database.
- In the Restore Database dialog box, complete the following steps:

- In the Database field of the Destination pane, type Insight.
- In the Source pane, select Device. This allows you to restore from the database backup provided by Cyncly.
- Click the Open button next to the Device field. The following figure illustrates this step.
- In the Specify backup devices dialog box, ensure that the Backup media is File.
- Click Add.
- In the Locate Backup File dialog box, click Add and browse to the SQLBackups folder; select the Insight backup provided by Cyncly. Click OK.
- The system returns to the Specify backup devices dialog box. Click OK.
- The system returns to the Restore Database dialog box. In the Restore column of the Restore plan pane, select the database backup that you want to restore and then click OK.
