Forms are broken up into regions. These regions have the following capabilities:
- Repositioned by dragging their title.
- Resize regions by dragging their edges.
- Collapse and expand by clicking the chevron in the top right corner.
Saving and deleting a region layout.
Each layout has an invisible Gear icon located in the top left position of the layout.
Clicking on the Gear icon will populate a submenu. Users can Save or Delete a region layout from this menu. Form layouts can be created or deleted for the current user (my view) or all users (global).
Form layout permissions
This functionality is controlled by the Form UI Layout Expert right. Without access, the user is unable to perform these functions.
In addition, users required to manage global layouts require the Global UI layout Expert right.
If a user view or global view is not present, then the System View will act as default.
