BOM Processing

  • When editing bills of material in production, non-mfg and MTS items can now be deleted from the production BOM.  
    Stock items that have already been issued will be set to Cancelled status in the BOM.

  • The browser client now supports hyperlink attachments, e.g. to allow attachment links to documents hosted in a DMS or external websites.

Infrastructure

  • A new logging infrastructure allows to log user interactions with browser-client forms and the data they interact with.
    Log entries are created each time a user performs one of the following activities: Add, Edit, View, Delete, Status update.
    The log data includes the following information:
    • Date/Time of the activity
    • Form name
    • Activity type (view, edit, add, delete, status)
    • Data Collection
    • Entity ID or Route to specific data
    Based on this data, users can view their own activity history via the new "My Form Activity" dashboard component,
    and revisit previously visited forms and data entities by clicking on a link.
    To enable the logging of user activities, the system setting 'EnableUserNavigationLogging' must be set to 'true'.

Integrations

  • 2020 Design v14 is now supported.
    Please verify the system setting 'Order Transformation Method' and change the value to match the version.
    The setting can be found in System Configuration > POS Order Processing > 2020 Design.

  • Added the ability to manually add scrap cuts via the right-click menu for router patterns in the Panel Optimization Console.

  • The CutRite Integration has been enhanced to support adding custom fields to the pnx/bdx output files. The Inresponse.Cutrite.dll will read the pnx and bdx format from the Cutrite profile files. Next, the system will match the field names of the main stored procedure (and the label stored procedure, if present) with the field names in the CutRite formats to create input files.
     
    The user has the option to override this behavior via defining PnxFields and/or BdxFields parameters in the input settings. In this scenario, if the label stored procedure exists then the values from this dataset are appended to each PnxField/BdxField line in the order presented in the SP.

  • Personalized UI layouts of browser-client forms are now stored in the database instead of the browser's local storage, enabling a consistent user experience across devices and making it easier for administrators to define and roll out global views to users.
    The following view options are available:
    • User View (saved by the User)
    • Global View (saved by the Admin)
    If no User or Global view is defined, the system provided default view will be used.

  • The automatic width adjustment for columns has been revised for the grid component in the browser-client to prevent frequent adjustment of the columns, especially when scrolling vertically through many rows.
    The column width is now preserved after the first page (with at least one row) has been loaded.
    If the data has changed (not by scrolling), the best width of each column is recalculated for the first page of data.
    This new behavior is not applied to columns that the user has manually resized (their width is preserved until the component is reloaded) or if the user has loaded a saved view.
