• A value enter into search fields on browser forms can appear invisible when the field loses focus. The value will reappear when the field is focused again. This is cosmetic only and the value is still effective for filtering results.

Business Intelligence

• The new 'Configuration' tab in the browser-based Dashboard Components form allows you to maintain configuration settings relevant to the chosen component type, including reference values and parameter defaults.

  All component settings, e.g. labels, stacking, sorting etc. can now be set in the dashboard component and do not have to be set individually for each use in a dashboard.

  A live preview of the resulting dashboard widget supports you in configuring the individual settings.

Scheduling

• The new 'Pickup Day' checkbox in the Address calendar can be used to specify the days on which, for example, returned goods can be picked up.

  This can be useful, for example, to optimize shipping schedules so that new goods are delivered on these days and returned goods can be picked up at the same address for the return transport.

• The new 'Ship Day' checkbox in the Plant calendar can be used to specify the days that are allowed for the Loading Date and Shipping Date when scheduling Shipments.

  This allows loading or shipping to be scheduled even on non-working days at a plant, e.g. if no production is running on a certain day but loading/shipping is still taking place.

• The 'From' and 'To' date search criteria for available items in the Production and Shipment scheduling forms are now optional. In addition, a new search field for the Order No. has been added.

  Note: The result grids for available items now respect the 'DataMaintenance.ResultGrids.MaxResultSetSize' setting, which determines the maximum number of rows returned/displayed. This should be kept in mind especially if no search criteria are used.

Services

• The new Task list function for Service Order Jobs allows you to define subtasks for a Job, a sequenced task list that the field service technician can then tick off as completed.
  

  In addition to a detailed description of the Task to be carried out, Tasks can also have attachments, such as a PDF with illustrated instructions.

  For efficient communication and logging, the field technician can also add comments or camera images to the task.

   

  In contrast to Service Order Jobs, Tasks do not have to be scheduled individually, so that the overall planning effort can be significantly reduced by using the new Tasks functionality, especially if a large number of individual Jobs were previously used, which could now be combined into "Job Groups" with detailed subtasks, for example.

Shop Floor

• Using the new checkpoint action SP parameter UseOriIdInBarcode="1", you can specify that ORI barcodes are used and displayed in shipping-related checkpoint frames for loose shipping items, instead of ICN barcodes.

  The parameter is supported by the 'dbo.spAPP_getShipmentDetails' Stored Procedure which is used in the following checkpoint frames:

  • Shipment Loading
  • Mobile Shipment Loading
  • Shipment Delivery Confirmation

  Note: Manual Containers and Warehouse Containers will continue to be represented by either CON or WHC.
