This topic provides the Construct Administrator with instructions for managing 2020 Construct licensing.
2020 Construct is licensed exclusively via online softlock licenses.
Softlock licensing provides the following advantages:
- Central administration by the 2020 Construct Administrator in the 2020myAccount license portal: the administrator can assign licenses to selected users or withdraw them, if necessary (e.g., when an employee leaves the company).
- Theft-proof: an online license cannot be stolen.
- Soft licenses do not occupy USB ports on the workstation.
WARNING: A 2020 Construct softkey cannot be used to run a lower version of 2020 Construct.
