- Open MS SQL Server Management Studio.
- Select the database that you want to upgrade.
- Select File > Open > File.
- In the Open File dialog box, navigate to the 01 PreUpgrade folder. These check scripts verify that data is prepared to be upgraded without problems.
- Execute each script in the folder.
- Review the results of each script in context of the script's purpose.
