You need to install the Cortona VRML Viewer so the user can view 3D images in the Sales Orders form. If the client has 2020 Construct installed, 2020 Construct includes the Cortona VRML Viewer; therefore, you do not need to manually install the Cortona VRML Viewer.
Install the Cortona VRML Viewer on Insight client computers only. Do not install this application on the Insight Application Workstation.
Complete the following steps to install the viewer:
- Insert the Insight installation CD.
- In the Add-Ons directory, double-click the vcredist_x64.exe file.
- Click Next to start the installation wizard.
- Read the license agreement, accept the terms of the agreement, and then click Install.
- When the setup is complete, click Finish.
- In the Add-Ons directory, double-click the cortona3d-viewer-64bit.msi file.
- InstallShield begins the Cortona Viewer installation. In the Welcome window, click Next.
- Read the License Agreement and then select I accept the terms in the License Agreement. When complete, click Next.
- In the Default Renderer window, select DirectX Renderer, as shown in the following figure. Then click Next.
- In the Web Browser Selection window, select the Web browser you will use to open VRML files and then click Next.
- In the Ready to Install window, click Install.
- In the Completing the Corntona 3D View Setup Wizard window, select the options shown in the following figure and then click Finish.
- The selected browser loads a sample VRML file.
