As part of installing Insight Client applications, you can install applications from third-party software vendors provided on the Insight installation CD. This software provides 3D viewing capability in the Sales Orders form.
Insight Client(s)
To use the Insight Sales Order 3D VRML viewer, all clients need to provide access to a copy of the IMOS.ini file and install the Cortona VRML Viewer.
Provide access to a copy of the IMOS.ini file
- If not done in a previous step, copy the IMOS.ini file to a shared network location, typically, \\servername\share\ConstructData\VRMLCFG. Verify that the setting IMOSDB_SERVER in the IMOS.ini file points to the SQL Server that contains the Insight_Construct database.
- Verify that the Setting Nucleus INI File Path points to \\servername\share\ConstructData\VRMLCFG.
